With the Candlelight Hike just days away, Schmeeckle staff, Friends, and volunteers are busy putting together the final touches! The biannual Candlelight Hike brings in thousands of people for a night of themed activities. This May’s theme is Hopping into Spring! Visitors will meet some of Wisconsin’s bouncy, jumping residents during the character program, get to make hopping good crafts, and walk along torchlit trails. The Hike is this Friday, May 3, from 7 to 9:30 p.m. with character programs at 7:30 and 8:30 p.m.
We are still looking for volunteers to help make the night of the Hike special. From leading education stations to greeting visitors on the trail to helping kiddos build a s’more, there is something for everyone.
