Life Membership
When you become a Life Member of the Friends of Schmeeckle Reserve, you’re making a vital investment in the future. You join a dedicated group of people who have made a lifelong commitment to protect and enhance Schmeeckle for future generations.
Life Memberships have a positive impact that extend far beyond a single lifetime. Your donation is invested in the Friends Endowment Fund, held at the Community Foundation of Central Wisconsin, which earns interest in perpetuity for the benefit of the Reserve. This provides a sustaining source of funding to protect green space, maintain trails, and provide educational and recreational opportunities.

Life Membership Options
Individual Life Membership: $1,000
May be paid in a lump sum or over two years with annual payments of $500
Joint Life Membership:* $1,500
May be paid in a lump sum or over two years with annual payments of $750
* Joint Life Membership is defined as a couple, partners, or a household of two. Joint membership does not extend to dependents, although all members of a family unit may participate in Friends activities.
If using the payment plan over two years, a reminder will be sent when the second payment is due. For the first year, you will receive an annual membership. After the second payment, your full status of Life Member will be conferred.
