More Music in the Woods!–and One More to Come

by Barbara Dixson

The summer music series in Schmeeckle is new this year and sponsored by the Friends of Schmeeckle Reserve. The first show featured the Central Wisconsin Symphony Orchestra Steel Band, and the second brought the Stevens Point City Band to the Reserve. The music was great, the weather friendly, the audience of 120-160 people lively, and everyone relished the chance to be so happily outdoors. You can still join in, when Tom Pease performs his kids-and-adults extravaganza on Tuesday, August 29, 6 p.m.
